Cookie Policy
1. Our approach to cookies
BRDiagnostics sets only the cookies — and similar browser storage such as localStorage — strictly necessary to run the site. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or non-essential cookies of any kind. Because of this, no cookie consent banner is required under the EU ePrivacy Directive.
2. Strictly necessary cookies & browser storage
Authentication & session: a secure, HttpOnly refresh cookie keeps you signed in; a short-lived access token is kept in your browser's local storage (and mirrored in a short-lived cookie) to authenticate your requests. These credentials carry the SameSite attribute, which protects against cross-site request forgery.
Language: a cookie remembers your selected language.
Preferences & app state: your light/dark theme choice and in-progress order or session state are kept in your browser's local storage on your device. This data stays in your browser and is not shared with any third party.
These cookies and storage entries are exempt from consent and cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality.
3. Analytics — without cookies
When analytics is enabled, we measure traffic with a privacy-friendly analytics tool that is cookieless and stores no personal data. It does not set tracking cookies, does not follow you across sites, and shares no data with any third party. It is configured to respect your browser's “Do Not Track” setting.
4. Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example marketing tags), we will add a proper consent banner and update this policy first. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
